History Of The Liver Bird 

The 18ft Liver Birds have been the symbol of Liverpool for over 800 years.
They rest atop of the Liver Building, part of the Three Graces.
There are many local legends surrounding these two birds, one famously being that if they flew away, the banks of the River Mersey would flood.
